Ecopedagogy

This website presents the research conducted by the artists' collective microsillons around the notion of ecopedagogy, which places the relationship between humans, other forms of life, and their environment at the heart of learning. Inherited from critical pedagogies (see previous research on Paulo Freire), ecopedagogy questions models based on competition, relations of domination, inequalities, and the abusive exploitation of resources. In the face of the climate emergency and the profound transformations of our societies, it invites us to think about ecological issues as inseparable from educational, social, decolonial, and feminist questions, in order to build a more sensitive and just understanding of contemporary challenges.
